Visa Application

  • Step 1: Fill out the online application form by providing us with your airport of arrival, date of arrival, your full name, your passport number, your date of birth and your nationality. You are required to enter the personal information of the applicant(s) that matches the information on your passport(s).

    Step 2: Pay the service fee online by your Credit/Debit Card (Paypal/Master card/Visa/Onepay/American Express/Western Union). After finishing your order with payment, you will receive a confirmation email for your visa order and informing when you will get your visa approval letter by email. In some urgent cases, we can send to you by email in 30 minutes after you send us your passport details, but this case may charge you more than the normal case.

    Step 3: Print out the visa approval letter attached in the email and 2 passport size photos to check in for your flight. When you come to Vietnam, you need to show out the visa approval letter at “Landing visa Counter” and pay stamping fee for Vietnam Immigration officers at the airport to get stamped on your passport. (Or you can choose full package service to get support from our staff for paying stamping fee and getting visa stamped).

    After that, you can enter Vietnam and enjoy your time in Vietnam.

     

  • Vietnam Visa on arrival is the type of visa picked up at Vietnam airports such as Noi Bai (Ha Noi), Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi Minh City), Da Nang, and Cam Ranh.

    Visa on arrival (VOA) is the most convenient way to obtain a Vietnam visa without wasting too much time. When applying for Vietnam visa upon arrival, your visa approval letter will be issued by Vietnam Immigration Department. Thus, it's a legitimate document and fully supported by the Vietnamese Government.

    With Visa on arrival, tourists will get their Vietnam visa stamped at Vietnam Airports so it's applicable to air travellers only. However, you are free to exit at any ports.

  • Vietnam visa on arrival is valid to air travel only because you must have your visa applicants stamped at the arrival airport in Vietnam only. If this is the case, we suggest that you contact the Vietnam Embassy/Consulate in your living country or near your living county to apply for a visa.

  • Vietnam visa on arrival type is categorized according to the days of staying, number of entries and purpose of visiting

     

    Beetrip provides the following types of visa:

    • 1 Month single entry: You are permitted to enter Vietnam ONCE during one Month your visa validity. After exiting Vietnam, your visa will automatically become invalid. If you would like to re-enter, you need to apply for a new visa.
    • 1 Month Multiple entries: You are permitted to enter Vietnam as Many Times as you want during One Month your visa validity.
    • 3 Months single entry: You are permitted to enter Vietnam ONCE during Three Months your visa validity. After exiting Vietnam, your visa will automatically become invalid. If you would like to re-enter, you need to apply for a new visa.
    • 3 Months Multiple entries: You are permitted to enter Vietnam as Many Times as you want during Three Months your visa validity.

     

    With regard to the purpose of visiting, we issue the following visa on arrival types:

    • Business visa: valid for 1 month, 3 months (single or multiple entries); 6 months, and 1 year (multiple entries)
    • Tourist visa: valid for 1 month or 3 months (single or multiple entries)
  • The only major difference between these two is the number of entries.

     

    With reference to the single entry visa, you are allowed to enter Vietnam only ONCE during your visa validity. After exiting Vietnam, your visa will be automatically invalid and you have to reapply for a visa if you want to visit Vietnam again.

     

    With reference to multiple entries visa, you can enter and exit Vietnam without being limited during your visa validity.

  • You will need an entry visa to travel to Vietnam if your nationality is not named in the Vietnam visa exemption list below:

     

    Visa-free less than 30 days: Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Indonesia, Cambodia (*).

    Visa-free less than 21 days: Philippines (*).

    Visa-free less than 14 days: Brunei, Myanmar (can enter and exit Vietnam many times (*).

    Visa-free less than 15 days: Japan, South Korean, Russia, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Belarus, Germany, France, Spain, United Kingdom, Italy (**).

    Note:

     

    + Citizens from (*) countries can enter and exit Vietnam many times.

     

    + If citizens from (**) countries wish to re-enter Vietnam under the visa exemption program again, the previous visit must be far at least 30 days the next visit.   

  • Visa approval letter is a document issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department (Vietnam Ministry of Public Security) that permits foreigners to enter and exit Vietnam in a given period of time. With the visa approval letter, you can get onto your plane and pick up your visa upon arrival at one of the three international airports in Vietnam (Hanoi, Hochiminh City and Da Nang).

  • Absolutely yes. Visa on arrival or Vietnam visa approval letter is a document issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department, the unique authority in Vietnam has the full right to consider and approve visa application. It is recognized by IATA (International Air Traffic Association), visa on arrival is totally legitimate. Hereinafter is the information cited from the Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs.     1. Regulatory documents:
    • Law No. 47/2014/QH13 on 16 June 2014 on entry, exit, transit, and residence status of foreigners in Viet Nam

     

    1. General provisions:
    • Foreigners who enter and exit Vietnam must have their passport or passport substitutes (hereinafter referred to as passports) and visas issued by competent authorities of Viet Nam, except in case of visa exemption. The passport substitutes must be introduced to and accepted by Vietnamese competent authorities through the diplomatic channel.
    • Vietnamese nationals who reside overseas holding travel documents issued by foreign competent authorities as valid documents to enter into, exit from the host country, the sample of which has been introduced officially to and accepted by Vietnamese competent authorities through diplomatic channels, are allowed to enter Viet Nam with these documents.

     

    1. Types of visas:
    • Single entry visa: is a visa having validity to enter into and exit from Vietnam for one time.
    • Multiple entry visa: is a visa having validity to enter into and exit from Vietnam for more than one time.

     

    1. Visa on arrival:

     

    a) The following foreigners are eligible for visa on arrival:

    • Departing from a country where there is no competent Vietnamese visa-granting authority;
    • Travelling through many countries before entering Viet Nam;
    • Visiting Viet Nam on tours organized by an international travel agency operated in Viet Nam;
    • Foreign crew members on board vessels anchored in Vietnam’s seaport wishing to exit through other border checkpoints;
    • Visiting Viet Nam to attending a relative’s funeral or visit a seriously ill family member;
    • Entering Viet Nam to engage in emergency response, search/rescue activities, disaster or epidemic control or for other special purposes at the request of the competent authority in Viet Nam.

     

    b) Before entering Viet Nam, applicants for visa on arrival must apply for visa approval for picking up visa at the border checkpoint issued by the Immigration Department, the Consular Department or the Department of External Affairs of Ho Chi Minh city.

     

    c) Foreigners eligible for visa on arrival shall submit their passports or international travel documents and fill in the visa application form with an attached photo at the Viet Nam’s border control authority. Over-14-year-old children sharing a passport with others must fill in a separate visa application form.d. The visa on arrival shall be granted after the Viet Nam’s border control authority completes checking applicant’s information and the visa approval

  • After you finish payment, our system will send you the email confirmation about day and time you will get the approval letter within 5 minutes. Subsequently, 2 working days later (for normal processing), a scanned colour PDF file of your Approval Letter will be sent to you via email, so please be sure you have provided us with your correct email address. You will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to open the file.

    Once receiving the Approval Letter via email, we strongly suggest checking your personal information carefully. In case you find any mistake, please contact us as soon as possible. After receiving the Visa approval letter, you should print it out (black and white are OK). You are not allowed to board the aeroplane without this letter in a paper in advance.

  • Stamping fee is a fee which directs payment to Vietnam Immigration Officer at the arrival Airport to get your visa stamp. This is a fixed amount to pay for the Vietnam Government.

     

    Cash is recommended to prepare before you arrive at any Vietnamese airport. It’s about :

     

    $25 USD for a single entry visa, from 1 to 3 months single visa

    $50 USD for less than 6 months of multiple entries visa.

    $95 USD for 6 months multiple entries visa to less than 1-year multiple entries.

     

    For a convenient reason, you prepare cash to pay stamping fee before entering Vietnamese airports because you cannot pay by credit card, in case that there is no international ATM in the airport.

  • In order to get Vietnam visa on arrival, there are two types of the fee you are required to pay:

     

    1. Service fee: must be paid in advance for your process of visa approval letter that officially issued by Vietnam Immigration Department. The fee amount is determined by:

     

    Number of entries (single/multiple)

    Length of stay (1 month/3 months/6months/1 year)

    Visiting purpose (business/tourist)

    Processing time (normal/urgent/emergency/holiday case)

     

     

    1. Stamping fee: the fee you are required to pay for Vietnam Immigration Officers at arrival airport to get official visa stamped onto your passport. The stamping fee must be IN CASH, credit cards are not accepted.
  • Your picture must follow the following criteria:

    1)    The face of the applicants must be a neutral expression, without smiling or frowning

    2)    Your photos must be taken within 6 months of the application date. (Dated stamp is not necessary but does not show a photo that is dramatically different from your current look.)

    3)    Photos must be taken against a white background and printed on quality photo paper

    4)    You cannot wear any kind of glasses when taking these photos

    5)    Veins, hats, and scarfs are strictly prohibited, and any other accessories that cover your ears or foreheads

    6)    Passport size photos: strictly be 4 x 6 cm

  • To complete the online application for a Vietnam visa approval letter, the visa applicants need to provide the following information exactly as shown in their passports (as once issued, the approval letter could not be amended in any way).

     

    Full name (exactly as in your passport)

    Date of birth (DOB)

    Nationality

    Passport Number

    Proposed arrival date

    Proposed exit date

  • You can apply for an approval letter as soon as you wish. Although it takes only 2 working days to get your visa approved, it is strongly advised that you apply for a Vietnam visa 1 – 2 weeks before your arrival date to avoid any unexpected payment issues, changing the plan or other administrative problems.

  • Visa on arrival works if you arrive at any of the three international airports: Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi Minh City), Noi Bai (Hanoi) and Danang (Da Nang). There is no problem with switching among these three airports.

  • To apply for a visa to Vietnam, your passport must have at least 6-month-validity. Therefore, if your passport is about to expire, please get a new one before applying for your visa in order to avoid unwanted problems at the airport.

     

    In case your passport has expired, you have to get it renewed before making a visa application. The reason is that according to Vietnam regulation, the passport must be at least 6 months valid from your entry date or else you will not be allowed to enter Vietnam.
